My dream since I was a little girl was to do hair. I had my own “salon” in my basement where I styled anyone’s hair that stopped by. This was usually my sister, parents, or the dog. I always had an eye for color. Even before highlights became popular on the salon scene, I’d grab a Barbie coloring book, gather crayons of different brown and yellow hues, and color Barbie’s hair with varying shades to make it look highlighted. It felt natural.

With over 30 years of experience, I’m always working to create a look that is versatile, visionary, and authentic for each client. My varying cutting techniques with scissors, clippers, or razors help give each customer a style that is maintainable and versatile enough to slay the beach, boardroom, or banquet hall. I love classic cuts, shags, edgy pixies, precision men’s cuts, and manicured beards. I believe everyone has their own style, and I work with each client to find which style best suits them.

Color is my other passion. My skills range from covering or blending grey, adding highlights that pop but have a natural feel, painting flowing ombrés, adding dimension with a balayage, or finely weaving babylights for a more subtle look. If I’m not standing over a head of hair, then I’m designing original artwork with wood and fibers. I will be forever creating.
